Pulsed input actuator
Guide to Controls (BG 83/2023) written by John Marrow and published by BSRIA in June 2023, suggests that pulsed input actuators: ‘...work by applying pulses of AC voltage either directly to the motor or indirectly through limit switches. They are often referred to as pulse width modulation actuators which means the length of the pulse is varied depending on the amount of travel that is required.’
